JAMESTOWN GOLD MINE TO BECOME YOSEMITE GARDENS PARK

The Jamestown Mine property, the site of an former open pit gold mine in Jamestown, California, is being planned to become a world-class tourist destination. When completed the Yosemite Gardens Park will provide for 1500 jobs and a tremendous boost for the area’s economy. The Park will feature a formal gardens, a baseball facility with 30 playing fields, 1200 hotel rooms, 8-plex theater with IMAX, bowling alley, 2000 seat amphitheater and a turn-of-the-century themed town. There will be an RV park and campgrounds.
